I have always loved to make things pretty My sweet mom taught me about finishing drywall and painting. I like to work on things and fix things, maybe its because it makes me proud to do things by myself. Or maybe because I am kind of a tom boy....I'm sure I'll be posting about bass fishing and pocket knives here and there. Nine years ago I met a wonderful man. He changed my life in so many ways. Jonas Crookes was an incredibly talented carpenter and he taught me a lot about his trade. He also gave me the two most precious baby girls I could have ever hoped for. Jonas passed away in 2014, two months after Rylee was born. His legacy and spirit lives on in the faces and hearts of those little angels. After a very tough year and a half I decided it was time to find a place to raise my girls. That is where this story begins.
Along the way I met my boyfriend, David. We met at my lowest point and he has hung in there like a champ! He definitly had his work cut out for him when he fell for the Crookes girls...... David is my plumber, electrician, job foreman, property manager and head cheerleader. What a blessed woman I am to have both of these men in my life.
